Our esteemed dentists are able to customize and combine procedures into innovative, fully personalized cosmetic treatment plans as unique as each individual patient. Patients emerge from treatment with radiant, rejuvenated smiles that truly project their personalities to the world.

One of the more common cosmetic issues our patients ask us to address is jutted teeth. A jutted tooth is one that protrudes compared to surrounding teeth, making a smile look uneven and ragged. At Premier Dental Center, we offer several treatment options for a jutted tooth. During consultations at our Jackson, TN cosmetic, restorative, and general dentistry practice, our dentists can discuss these options, recommending the treatment best suited to the individual patient based on his or her unique circumstances.

Are you dissatisfied with the appearance of your smile due to one or more jutted teeth? If so, we encourage you to schedule your initial consultation at Premier Dental Center today.

Available Treatment Options for Jutted Teeth

There are several available treatments for jutted teeth. The treatment option that is most appropriate to your particular case will depend on multiple factors, including the degree of the angle to which your tooth protrudes, the cause for its protrusion, and your treatment goals. Our dentists will discuss your treatment options with you in detail, helping you to arrive at the choice that will yield the best possible results in your case.

Available treatment options for jutted teeth include:

  • Invisalign®: The Invisalign® system offers a state-of-the-art orthodontic solution to what is essentially an orthodontic problem. Jutted teeth are the result of misalignment, most likely due to overcrowding. The Invisalign® system gradually moves the teeth toward their optimal positions in the mouth through a series of clear plastic aligners customized to each patient. Each aligner is switched out for the next in the series approximately every two weeks. Aside from being more aesthetically appealing than traditional metal braces, Invisalign® aligners can be removed for eating, brushing, and flossing. Patients will emerge from treatment with straight, uniform teeth in roughly the same amount of time it would take to complete treatment with traditional metal braces.
  • Porcelain veneers: In cases of more minor jutting, it may be possible to create the appearance of a more uniform smile through the placement of porcelain veneers. By affixing porcelain veneers to the front surfaces of the front teeth, our dentists can correct minor alignment and spacing issues while also concealing any other aesthetic flaws such as chips, cracks, and discoloration.
  • Porcelain crowns: Porcelain crowns can be used to impose uniformity on side teeth where jutting may exist. Crowns are porcelain restorations that are crafted to cover the entire visible surface area of a tooth.
